ABU’s 54th General Assembly

Back to back with ABU’s 54th General Assembly, this workshop gathered over 70 media managers of the Asia-Pacific seeking new tools to develop the quality, credibility and efficiency of their newsrooms and other content production units. With 2017 ABU’s main theme, “Media in times of uncertainty”, François Blayo and David Balme emphasized the need to implement new tools based on both management system and digital content certification. Mr Anothai Udomsilp and Mr Tanadate Tanboriphan provided the participants with a clear insight into the ins and outs of the certification of Thai PBS management system. The participants then built an overview of the resources needed to develop a quality system able to keep people motivated, control quality, serve the public interest and gain public trust.
